On Monday, June 16, 2008, the LTC Mark Patrick Phelan Foundation held its third annual golf outing at the Indian Valley Country Club.
The event, Golf 4 Freedom, raised between $35,000 and $40,000. Proceeds will be used to aid military families who have lost loved ones; as well as help wounded soldiers facing challenges such as lost jobs, overdue bills, and deserted spouses, according to Brenda Phelan.
